Over the years, I’ve come to realize that many leaders quietly carry far more than most people ever see.
Responsibility increases.
Pressure builds.
The decisions become more complex.
More people begin depending on you.
And somewhere along the way, even strong and capable people can begin losing clarity while continuing to carry everything around them.
I’ve observed in healthcare, emergency management, leadership, and daily life that dedicated people often become exhausted and end up going through the motions. This isn't weakness; it's the toll of ongoing pressure without support.
This is one of the reasons Leading Edge Advisory Group exists. Not simply to improve performance, but to help people lead well, think clearly again, and move forward in healthier and more sustainable ways. Because leadership should not require you to lose yourself in the process.
